Every aspiring rapper or hip-hop producer dreams of making it big, but as we all know and history proves; only a mere fraction of those trying to reach fame actually do. I think almost everyone growing in a urban neighborhood that love hip-hop wanted to be a rapper. I remember growing up; there were around twenty kids at school that would rap in talent shows and swear they were great, just waiting on a chance to blow up. The only difference is that now with sites like Youtube, FaceBook, etc., it’s easier to record, produce, and share your music, so you have a lot more people trying to do it...

WELL DAMN. Last week, J. The release date for Kanye West‘s forthcoming G. O. O. D. Music album entitled “Cruel Summer” has been confirmed for August 7th. The is the collective work of Kanye’s record label and will feature all acts signed to the imprint including Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi, Big Sean and Mr Hudson.

One song from the album has been made public so far, the track “Mercy“. Meanwhile, it was claimed earlier today (June 21) that Kanye is currently working on a new solo album inspired by animal sounds and noises from the jungle. “He’s become so obsessed with roars, barks and jungle noises that he’s experimenting with putting them on a recording”.

This morning (June 20), Houston rapper and Grand Hustle signed artist, Trae the Truth, was wounded in a shooting at a strip club on the southwest side of Houston.
